The Way Joy Finds Its Way Home

Sometimes
kindness feels small—
a cup of water passed,
a door held open,
a quiet listening
when your own thoughts
are loud.

But somewhere
in the unseen places,
your offering slips
into another heart
like a seed tucked
into soft earth—
hidden, unspectacular,
yet already waking.

And joy—
that patient traveler—
circles back in ways
you don’t expect.
In lighter breaths,
in steadier steps,
in the hush that settles
over your soul
when you realize
you’ve spent yourself
on something that
actually mattered.

It’s never a deal,
never a bargain—
just the way goodness
moves in the world,
how giving loosens
the tight places,
and how the smallest light
you release
has a gentle habit
of walking you home.
