Speaking Truth in Love

(Inspiration taken from Ephesians 4:15 “But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:”)

Like sunlight breaking through the shade,
Love’s voice speaks clear, unafraid—
Not with the weight of pride or scorn,
But with the grace of hearts reborn.

Truth is a seed the Spirit sows,
Watered in love, it takes and grows;
Roots sink deep in Christ the Head,
By every word His Spirit said.

In Him we rise, in Him we stay,
Each step aligned to Heaven’s way;
The body knit, the heart made new,
Each word and deed both kind and true.

So may we grow in all of life,
Through joy and peace, through toil and strife;
Till every thought and work declare,
The fullness of His likeness there.

If this poem stirred something in your heart, remember that the deepest roots grow from God’s Word itself. “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee” (Psalm 119:11). If you’d like simple, practical help in tucking Scripture into memory…
