The Song of Thankful Hearts

When daylight fades and shadows fall,
And silence gathers round it all,
A whisper stirs within the night—
“Be still, My child, give thanks for light.”

For gratitude is more than cheer,
It sings through loss, it softens fear.
It finds in tears a hidden grace,
And sees God’s mercy face to face.

When blessings bloom or blessings flee,
A thankful heart still bends the knee.
It knows the Giver’s hand is kind,
Though clouds conceal His grand design.

Each breath, a gift; each dawn, a prayer,
Each burden met with love’s own care.
Though paths grow dim, His truth remains,
And joy still dances through our pains.

So let us lift our hearts anew,
For every grace He’s carried through.
The world may shift, the seasons flee,
But gratitude still bends the knee.
