In Your Time, Lord

(Inspired by John 16:12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.”)

Lord, teach me truths I cannot bear,
Reveal them gently, with loving care.
A little light for each day’s pace,
A steady hand, a needed grace.

Keep me from rushing, quick to demand,
Fruit without soil, harvest unplanned.
Help me endure, both strong and still,
Shaped by Your love, aligned to Your will.

When strength is failing, keep me near,
Your whispered word is what I hear.
And at the end, when race is done,
I’ll rest forever with You, the Son.
